“Ayameva sā ahamapi so anañño,

Ayameva so hatthacchinno anañño;

Yamāha ‘komārapatī maman’ti,

Vajjhitthiyo natthi itthīsu saccaṁ.

Imañca jammaṁ musalena hantvā,

Luddaṁ chavaṁ paradārūpaseviṁ;

Imissā ca naṁ pāpapatibbatāya,

Jīvantiyā chindatha kaṇṇanāsan”ti.

Cūḷapadumajātakaṁ tatiyaṁ.
