“Pabbatūpatthare ramme,

jātā pokkharaṇī sivā;

Taṁ siṅgālo apāpāyi,

jānaṁ sīhena rakkhitaṁ”.

“Pivanti ce mahārāja,

sāpadāni mahānadiṁ;

Na tena anadī hoti,

khamassu yadi te piyā”ti.

Pabbatūpattharajātakaṁ pañcamaṁ.
