“Disvā padamanuttiṇṇaṁ,

Disvānotaritaṁ padaṁ;

Naḷena vāriṁ pissāma,

Neva maṁ tvaṁ vadhissasī”ti.

Naḷapānajātakaṁ dasamaṁ.

Sīlavaggo dutiyo.

Tassuddānaṁ

Atha lakkhaṇa sākha dhiratthu puna,

Na kiratthi rasehi kharādiyā;

Atibhoti vara māluta pāṇa,

Muccena naḷaavhayanena bhavanti dasāti.
