“Haṁsā koñcā mayūrā ca,

hatthayo pasadā migā;

Sabbe sīhassa bhāyanti,

natthi kāyasmi tulyatā.

Evameva manussesu,

daharo cepi paññavā;

So hi tattha mahā hoti,

neva bālo sarīravā”ti.

Keḷisīlajātakaṁ dutiyaṁ.
