“Makkaṭo pañcadvārāyaṁ,

kuṭikāyaṁ pasakkiya;

Dvārena anupariyeti,

ghaṭṭayanto muhuṁ muhuṁ.

Tiṭṭha makkaṭa mā dhāvi,

na hi te taṁ yathā pure;

Niggahītosi paññāya,

neva dūraṁ gamissatī”ti.
