Upādānasutta

Translator: Mahāsaṅgīti Tipiṭaka Buddhavasse 2500

“Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, upādānāni.

Katamāni cattāri?

Kāmupādānaṁ, diṭṭhupādānaṁ, sīlabbatupādānaṁ, attavādupādānaṁ—

imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri upādānāni.

Imesaṁ kho, bhikkhave, catunnaṁ upādānānaṁ abhiññāya pariññāya parikkhayāya pahānāya …pe… ayaṁ ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko maggo bhāvetabbo”ti.
