Saccapāramī 4

Translator: Mahāsaṅgīti Tipiṭaka Buddhavasse 2500

“Punāparaṁ yadā homi,

maccharājā mahāsare;

Uṇhe sūriyasantāpe,

sare udaka khīyatha.

Tato kākā ca gijjhā ca,

kaṅkā kulalasenakā;

Bhakkhayanti divārattiṁ,

macche upanisīdiya.

Evaṁ cintesahaṁ tattha,

saha ñātīhi pīḷito;

‘Kena nu kho upāyena,

ñātī dukkhā pamocaye’.

Vicintayitvā dhammatthaṁ,

saccaṁ addasa passayaṁ;

Sacce ṭhatvā pamocesiṁ,

ñātīnaṁ taṁ atikkhayaṁ.

Anussaritvā sataṁ dhammaṁ,

paramatthaṁ vicintayaṁ;

Akāsiṁ saccakiriyaṁ,

yaṁ loke dhuvasassataṁ.

‘Yato sarāmi attānaṁ,

yato pattosmi viññutaṁ;

Nābhijānāmi sañcicca,

ekapāṇampi hiṁsitaṁ.

Etena saccavajjena,

pajjunno abhivassatu;

Abhitthanaya pajjunna,

nidhiṁ kākassa nāsaya;

Kākaṁ sokāya randhehi,

macche sokā pamocaya’.

Saha kate saccavare,

pajjunno abhigajjiya;

Thalaṁ ninnañca pūrento,

khaṇena abhivassatha.

Evarūpaṁ saccavaraṁ,

katvā vīriyamuttamaṁ;

Vassāpesiṁ mahāmeghaṁ,

saccatejabalassito;

Saccena me samo natthi,

esā me saccapāramī”ti.
